MTT Adoptable try-out: Gallium (lost)

Occupation: Welding - Misc repair/art
Saliva taste: Salty, almost metallic
Build: Strong and muscled, (but not super heavily at all) from lifting heavy metal etc.
Location: Junction City

Personality: Gallium is a collector. He loves metal and anything shiny - his home in junction city is stacked about with 'junk' as other people would call it, scrap metal really. He roams about abandoned places outside the city and collects anything that catches his fancy, intending to either fix it or use it, but that doesn't always happen. Most of it ends up in his sculpture - he loves to make art from the junk other people would throw away, or look at like it was useless. He has no formal job, but he will sell or commission sculptures, or do micellaneous repair.
He's constantly dirty from welding, and really has no shame in that. His welding mask hides his strange appearance, black and white straight down the middle, a rare condition among MTTs. One eye is also darker than the other.
Galli doesn't have many friends, simply because he spends so much time in his house converted to a metal work-shop.

History: Galli's father was a factory worker, and would often take a young gallium with him when he went to work to encourage the child to work hard and earn a good honest living like him. Galli first held a welding torch there, attracted by the bright sparks being put off by one of the other workers.
His family saved up to send him to college, and he went to a vocational school to learn welding. He got bored with the basics however and soon enough switched to an arts school to learn the art of welding - same thing, different principle. The process of welding functional objects is usually not compicated, because it is performed with the sole purpose of joining materials together. Sculptural welding, on the other hand, requires knowledge and skill, because it involves welding materials of different shapes and colors into imaginative forms.
He's currently living in the Junction city, fresh out of school, turning his home into the ultimate workshop. He has one friend from school he keeps in contact with, but otherwise spends most of his time in the 'studio' working. He's nearly always dirty.
He can also get lost in his work for days on end and forget to pay bills....

Appearance:
His base color in dragon form is split down the middle, half white and half black. He has bright neon green markings, and the inside of his ears and his mouth are the same color of green as his markings. His tongue is green as well :> He has four earrings in his black-colored ear - two rods and a chain that hands from two studs. There are two rings loose on the chain. His hair is black on one side and white on the other, with green roots (which you can't see under his welding mask) One eye is dark green and the other is the same bright green as his markings. One has a black sclera and one white.

Ok I love him. To death. Ahmygod. I do, really. And I'm really proud of the art - I've been working on the poses for a while :> Since the last contest, I wanted to be prepared. Getting better at MTT anatomy LOL but I had help, thank you mikethesquirrel for redlines.
I want to keep him, I really do. :> I love the personality and everything but I don't dare re-use it for another adoption contest. That just doesn't work in my mind X'D I just can't slap the same concept onto another MTT... I just jsdkfjsdf can't. I get too attached.
Spent out... errrrm... four or five hours on and off on this?

As for his personality and backstory, I think I've managed to make a pretty cool character without involving tragedy or death. while that can be done well, it's not always best :> I also didn't want to draw TOOOO much attention to his strange appearance - yes it's weird among MTTs but he doesn't need to be bipolar or multiple personality disorder for it. I swear some people are going to do that mark my words Ok I admit it works with the imagery but it's not always realistic. Idk that can be done well or badly *shrug*

Man so many people trying out for this one, lord I'm screwed.

I'm trying out for AT LEAST two this time, maybe more. I already have a whole perfect idea for a second one, I just need to draw it (dear god more work - but perhaps worth it)
but if I had to choose one to win, it would be this sweety.</sub>
